Skiing & Trails

New trails for skiers is the big news for this year.  These old trails were used by those of us who skied in the 60’s before the chair lift was there.   We spent the last couple of weeks cutting down trees, clearing bush, and filing in holes to open these new trails.

We will start the season running the chair lift on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only.   It is our intention to expand the days and hours of the lift as the season progresses, and we get the skiers back.

We will also groom the chair lift hill for a mogul run.   The old glade trail (jughandle) has been cleared out and will be open for the first time in years.

There was a chairlift for a short period of time late 60s early 70s era. It was dismantled because of maintenance and safety issues. At the time it was purchased it was a new design and one of the first of its kind. It was located to the right of the T- Bar if you were standing at the bottom of the hill. As a kid I could hardly wait for x-mas and getting my season pass from santa. It was a great place for us kids in the 60s and I hope it can continue to be forever.
